OBSERVER OF WILDLIFE

We noticed that the number of animals, especially endangered species such as tapir and bearcat, being involved in roadkill are increasing despite the various measures taken by the authorities.

We believed that these kinds of accidents could be prevented if road users were aware of the presence of animals along the road.

OWL is a low-cost animal detection system that alerts drivers of the presence of wildlife up ahead to give the driver enough time to slow down their vehicle and give way to the animals to cross the road safely.

Our  main target users are wildlife protection organisation such as World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia, Jabatan Perhilitan Malaysia, Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia and Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Malaysia. However, our product is open for any interested party in the act of wildlife and endangered species protection.
